Long big on OSU, PSU, and ND

Canton (Ohio) Glen Oak's Brandon Long missed three games during his junior season due to an ankle injury. However what Long did in the other games was enough to show recruiters he is a prospect to watch closely his senior season.
The 6-foot-3 and 230 pound Long, a starter at defensive end since his sophomore year, also played tight end as a junior. Long made 68 tackles including four sacks while also catching four passes his junior season. He will move to inside linebacker his senior season and could play that position, outside linebacker, defensive end, or tight end in college.

"There's a bunch of schools recruiting me," Long said. "Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pitt, Virginia, there's a long list."
"I'd say my number one choice is Ohio State just because it's pretty close to home."
"I really like Notre Dame's tradition. And I like the Big Ten. Penn State is big."
"I went to an Ohio State junior day. I was invited to five or six others too. I'll go to the Ohio State NIKE Camp. I'll go to Ohio State's camp in June, and maybe Michigan State or Penn State's camp."
