Long Beach sleeper making name

Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan is home for a sleeper with tremendous upsides. He sure has the size and speed quotient that is coveted by the D-I schools. Add in his overall athleticism and you have the recipe of a solid D-I prospect.
Keep your eyes on defensive end/tight end Jesse Feagin (6-4, 240, 4.7).

This talented athlete is a starting varsity athlete for two sports. Besides starting as a defensive end he also starts on the basketball team.
“Jesse is very physical,” Jordan head coach Scott Meyer said. “As a tight end, Jesse can really run and create problems for a defense.”
“Jesse has great hands and good size,” Meyer said. “Though this will be his first season playing tight end he just might project as a tight end on the collegiate level.”
“Jesse is a very smart football player, too,” Meyer said. “There is nothing that I don’t like about Jesse.”
Apparently more than just Meyer likes Feagin. He has received letters from Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Arizona State, San Diego State and Boise State.
Versatility is definitely Feagin’s calling card.
“Jesse moves so well that we may look at him as an inside linebacker,” Meyer said. “We had him play a little middle linebacker during our seven-on-seven drill and he looked pretty good.”
“Jesse has fantastic mobility,” Meyer said. “I can’t tell you enough how he can really move.”
Feagin could end up playing and being a recruit at three positions. He is a super athlete who may have the opportunity to play tight end, defensive end and linebacker.
