As expected, Roanoke (Va.) Northside star linebacker Justin London announced the school of his choice today at a news conference. So where is the standout headed?
"I'm going to UCLA," said the 6-foot-2, 218-pound senior in a surprise move. "It was a tough decision between UCLA and Virginia Tech and that's why it took me so long. Once I took location out of the picture, UCLA became my clear choice."
London chose UCLA over Virginia Tech, Maryland, Tennessee and NC State in a surprise move. Many expected London to choose the Hokies over everyone else based on proximity to home. However, the talented senior fooled everyone.
"I loved it out there and it really felt like home. It was tough to turn down Tech, but I felt I needed to follow my heart. Now it's time to make the UCLA defense tough and get rid of any soft label they might have. We're going to be the toughest defense in the country."
