Lokombo is a top five player in the state

One of the best looking players we saw at the NIKE Camp in Oregon this past weekend was Eugene (Ore.) South athlete Boseko Lokombo. Although we feel Lokombo was playing out of position, it wasn't hard to see the athlete had maybe the best upside of any player in the camp.
Lokombo, 6-3, 216 pounds is a player we've heard a lot about in recent months. We were excited to see him work out with the linebackers but he decided to take all his reps at the wide receiver position.

"I was told by some of the Oregon coaches to work out with the receivers since they know what I can do at linebacker," Lokombo said. "It was fun, I had a good time out there."
Lokombo has a great frame and is very fluid. He's long limbed and very rangy and will have no problem adding weight down the line.
"I think linebacker is his natural position but he still looked good out here," lead NIKE WR Coach Matt James said. "He caught the ball well, runs around pretty good and is a big time athlete."
On the recruiting front, Lokombo has four offers on the table and five schools at the top if his list.
"I have offers from Boise State, Orego, Oregon State and Washington State," Lokombo said. "Oregon is my top school followed by UCLA, Stanford, Washington and Oregon State. I want to take my trips and I'm not planning to commit early any time soon."
