Logan ready for camps to begin

Four-star linebacker Abner Logan of Brookline (Mass.) Dexter School has seen his recruiting process heat up in recent weeks and should continue this trend as he starts his hectic camp schedule this weekend.
"I have the camps coming up and schools are basically saying that if I show up and do what I've been doing then I'll get an offer," said Logan, who is 6-foot-1 and 212-pounds.

Up first for Logan is a camp at UConn this Saturday, then camps at Penn State, Florida, N.C. State, Nebraska, Syracuse, Notre Dame and Maryland will follow. He has been preparing himself physically for these camps, and is also ready mentally.
"I'm going into these camps with something to prove," said Logan. "I go into every camp like no one knows about me, so I want to stand out."
Schools are definitely well aware of Logan and his abilities at this point, despite the fact that he plays at a previously unknown private school in Massachusetts. He already held offers from Syracuse, Florida International, Massachusetts and Towson, and added an ACC offer last week.
"Maryland is my latest offer," said Logan. "They're probably the strongest program that has offered me so far and they have a very solid academic background."
