Spring (Texas) Westfield receiver Ja-Mes Logan received his seventh official offer this last week from a program who has history in the Houston area.
Minnesota, who picked up Houston Lamar's Eric Lair last signing period, offered the 6-foot-3 athletic receiver and Logan is returning the interest.
"I really like the coaches who are recruiting me and I like where there program is going," he said. "I've also been offered by Purdue recently."
The Gophers and Boilermakers join Kansas, Ole Miss, Boise State, Syracuse and Iowa as Logan's offers.
"I've set a visit in September for Purdue and I'm headed to Florida and LSU in August," he said. "They haven't offered but they are talking to me a lot right now."
As for now, Logan is participating in Westfield's speed and strength camp which runs most of the summer.
"Yep, every day at eight in the morning," he laughs.
