Loftus still sitting with one offer

Drew Loftus put up big numbers in his senior season but his recruitment is still going slow as the Kennewick, Wash., prospect has an offer from New Mexico State and interest from Idaho but that's about it.
Loftus, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect, said he's not sure about other offers at this point and that he hasn't scheduled an official visit to New Mexico State yet.

"I'm not too sure about them right now," Loftus said.
He's not against being a walk-on at some schools but is still waiting to see if any other programs get involved with him over the next couple months.
"I'm really not too sure what's going to happen," Loftus said. "I want to play at a competitive school, a D-I school, so if I have to walk on that's what I'll do.
"I'm kind of waiting to see if I'm going to get any offers and still at the same time I'm looking at places that if I don't get any offers where I'd still want to go."
Most programs are recruiting Loftus as a wide receiver or athlete but he played quarterback this season and that could be a hindrance in his recruitment since there isn't much tape of him at other positions.
Loftus finished with 1,400 passing yards, 1,100 rushing yards and 15 rushing and passing touchdowns. He also had four interceptions.
No visits have been scheduled at this point as Loftus gauges which programs are truly interested in him.
