Local WR has the Bulls on top

Dade City (Fla.) Pasco wide receiver Demetrious Larry has been getting some attention from several college programs, including one local favorite.
"I've gotten questionnaires from Stanford," he said. "I am interested in South Florida and Florida."

The Bulls are a team that has caught Larry's eye during the early portion of the recruiting cycle.
"I want to go to South Florida," he said. "They like to spread the ball out."
The 6-foot, 150-pound Larry talked about what makes him a legitimate Division I-A prospect at the wide receiver position.
"I work hard and I don't get down," he said. I don't let anybody get me down. I go for the ball at wide receiver."
Pasco head coach Dale Caparaso said this about his star receiver prior to last season the Tampa Tribune.
"Demetrious really came on for us at the USF passing tournament (last summer)," he said. "He made some phenomenal plays. We were concerned with whether Demetrious was going to be able to fill the shoes of our big receivers, but I say that somewhat tongue-in-cheek because he's 6-foot. He weighs maybe 165 soaking wet, so we'll see what he does."
Larry says he has been timed as fast as 4.6 seconds 40-yard dash. He also plays basketball and runs track, participating in the 100 and 200-meter dash, the high jump and the long jump.
