Livsey waiting for offers

Running back Eric Livsey had been holding onto an offer from Temple for a while but the Owls may be done with their recruiting efforts for the year. What are the remaining options for the Pittsburgh (Pa.) Gateway athlete?
This fall Livsey spent time at running back and defensive back, picking off two passes and returning both for touchdowns. Where do things stand in terms of recruiting for him now?

"I still only have an offer from Temple but I'm not really sure how that's looking," he explained. "They haven't been answering my calls or calling me back and I think they have 25 commitments already. They haven't told me it's off the table but they haven't been contacting me.
"I'm going down to Albany sometime at the end of this month or the beginning of February to see if they'll offer. All the state schools are looking at me and they're pretty much all the same. Albany is definitely at the top of my list right now."
At 6-feet, 196-pounds, the two-star prospect runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and has a vertical leap of 32 inches. He could end up at any one of several positions if he gets an opportunity at the college level.
"Most are probably looking at me as a defensive back, a safety. Or I could play as some type of safety and linebacker. Then there are some that still like me as a tailback."
