Liverpool close to a decision

Teaneck (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep cornerback/wideout Marquis Liverpool took his first official visit this past weekend and could be close to a decision.
"It could come sooner or it could come later," said the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder who visited Virginia this past weekend. "I don't have any other official visits set right now and it's pretty much down to Virginia and BC. I really liked Virginia, the coaches and the players. I was hosted by Jermaine Dias who I've known for a few years because we played each other."

Liverpool is being recruited as an athlete by Virginia and could play either corner or wideout.
"I prefer offense, but I'll play wherever," he said. "Virginia felt really good to me and I've seen enough of BC where I could decide between the two now if I wanted. I still might take an official to BC or I might just decide this week."
Liverpool was a standout on Bosco's state championship team. The No. 2 team in the country finished their perfect season on Tuesday with a 14-13 win over Bergen Catholic. He is ranked as the No. 20 cornerback in the country by Rivals.com
