Little playing the waiting game

Despite a strong start to his senior season, things have seemed to slow a bit for talented Oakland (Calif.) Castlemont athlete Chris Little.
Little, 6-3, 215 pounds is an impressive athlete with a great college body already. He has the kind of frame that will easily be able to handle another 20-25 pounds or so and we can easily see him as a 6-3, 240 pound outside linebacker causing havoc at the next level.

As a junior, we saw Little more as a receiver and he had a very solid season. He finished the year with 37 catches for 537 yards and 12 touchdowns to earn all-city honors. He added 45 tackles, six sacks, two fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and two interceptions on defense and projects best as a 'backer in college.
On the recruiting front, Little picked up early offers from Nebraska, Oregon State, Arizona and Idaho but has received just one call since September 1 rolled around.
"Nebraska is the only school I've heard from so far," Little said. "I don't know why the others haven't called to be honest. I've talked with Nebraska about getting a visit set up but we don't have date right now. San Diego State is writing me but that's about it there. I like San Diego State because I have a former teammate there but I'm keeping my options open and hopefully a few more schools will get involved soon."
