Little names 5 favorites

Don't let his name fool you because wide receiver Greg Little out of Durham (N.C.) Hillside is a big-time prospect. The 6-foot-3, 204-pounder with 4.5-second speed accounted for over 1,600 yards of offense and 30 touchdowns as a junior. Plenty of schools have shown interest in the prospect.
"I'm getting interest from lots of schools, but I have offers from Virginia, South Carolina, Duke and Nebraska," he said. "I'd say my top five schools right now are Notre Dame, Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia and Texas.

"I like all of them because all the coaches seem like pretty generous guys that could possibly offer me a lot of playing time my freshman year. I would definitely like to play as soon as I get to college. Another thing I'm looking for out of all these schools is them to solicit me as much as possible to the pros. I'm going to be looking at a lot of schools that have had success at the running back and wide receiver positions."
So far, everybody except Duke has been looking at Little as a wide receiver. What makes him stand out?
"I have a knack for getting open and I feel I also have good acceleration off the ball," he said. "When I'm not getting the ball, I'm also a pretty good blocker and I know most teams need that. One thing I still need to work more on is my speed."
The Rivals100 prospect is being recruited for basketball by some pretty prestigious names as well.
"I'm getting interest from Duke and Virginia for basketball," he said. "It would be very nice to do the dual sport thing, but I prefer football more of the two."
Little is looking at taking in a Nike Camp and the Elite College Combine this spring. This summer he plans to at least head to camps at his top five schools.
