Favorite schools: Penn State, Clemson, North Carolina, Pitt, Maryland, Illinois, Virginia.
Skinny: Skeparnias is one of the top quarterbacks in Pennsylvania and combines the ability to scramble in the open field with a good arm.
"I feel like I can make any pass," said Skeparnias. "I've got a strong arm and I don't just focus on one receiver. I can spread the ball around the field and I see all the players on the field. I'm mostly a drop back passes with dual-threat potential. A lot of people call me a field general."
What does Skeparnias like about his favorites?
"I've been to a camp at Penn State and developed a close relationship with the people there. Clemson showed interest in me very early on and they've kept in touch. North Carolina is an excellent school and a great place for college. Pitt is a nearby school that offers early playing time. Maryland is pretty close to home and they have a program that's really on the rise. Illinois is very interested in me and they've built a solid program recently.
"If Penn State, Clemson or UNC offered me a scholarship I would think very hard about committing to them early. I would like to try and make my decision before summer camps this year to get things over with. Penn State, Clemson, Pitt, UVA, Alabama and Wisconsin are recruiting me the hardest right now. I've been invited to junior days at Penn State and Pitt and I'll go to those two summer camps, plus Purdue and Illinois."
