Lineman Talks About His Commitment

"I have committed to play for Iowa State," offensive tackle Cory Wierson said. "Iowa State gave me an offer over the summer and I felt like that is where I wanted to go. Nebraska and Wisconsin are still showing interest, but my commitment is solid. Iowa and Missouri were two other schools that were recruiting me."

Wierson (6'5 285 5.1), from Waukee (IA), has been a varsity starter since his sophomore season when he played offensive tackle. As a junior he started at tackle on both sides of the ball.
