Lineman returns from a trip

Top Minnesota lineman Tony Brinkhaus made it to the Nebraska spring game, along with a quite few others. Tony might be one of the best to make that visit.
“I have been there before and it was really cool there,” Tony said. “I like it a lot there and my cousins go there."

Last year as a junior, the 6-foot-3, 285 pound lineman from Bloomington, Minn. was named to his conference’s first team, first team all-metro and he was the captain of his team.
Playing defensive tackle for Bloomington Jefferson last year, he had 54 tackles, four sacks, 19 hurries, eight tackles for a loss, three caused fumbles and he recovered one fumble.
However, his future seems to be as an offensive lineman at the next level.
“Some of my coaches on my team think I will play offense in college too.”
He has two summer camps planned for this summer.
“I’m going to the Nebraska one and the Minnesota one.”
He will be going to the fourth session at Nebraska (June 22) and just before that he will be attending a three day camp at Minnesota.
Those two schools are probably his top two at this moment.
