Position: Offensive line
Size and speed: Van Someren is 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds. He has been timed at 5.3 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Van Someren has been a varsity starter sine his sophomore season. He has a 3.7 GPA and scored a 26 on the ACT.
Favorite Schools: Wisconsin
Skinny: Van Someren is drawing interest from a number of Big Ten schools, but the one that catches his eye the most at this point is not far from home.
"I'm interested in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Stanford," Van Someren said. "And I get mail from Northwestern and Michigan."
"Those are the top ones I'm looking at."
"Wisconsin's my favorite. I went to their spring game. It was great."
