Outside linebacker Paul Williams, who is from Tyler (Texas) Lee, said that he has some verbal offers, but he preferred to not divulge exactly who the schools were right now.
"I don't want to say who I have the verbal offers from," Williams said. "I prefer to keep that private at this time. I do expect (written) offers to come in the next couple of weeks."
Williams has been to summer camps at Texas, LSU and TCU, so those could be the verbal offers that he has received. He will be attending camps at Texas A&M and Baylor in July.
"I was thinking about deciding early then decided to hold off," the 6-foot-2, 220 pound linebacker said. "I'll probably decide about mid-season or right after the season, possibly after my visits. I might take all five, but don't really know at this time."
Two teams do stand out right now.
"If I had to commit today, it would probably be to Texas or LSU," he said.
He had 96 tackles, four sacks, recovered four fumbles and blocked two pass attempts and one punt as a junior.
