DeSoto, Texas linebacker Victor DeGrate, Jr. now has received offers from Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, SMU, Michigan, Arizona and Kansas State for a total of seven scholarship offers.
He says two schools are jumping into the lead for his commitment.
The 6-foot-4, 232-pound DeGrate said, "Missouri, Florida and Oklahoma are recruiting the hardest at this point, but if I had to sign today, it would be between Arizona or Kansas State."

He made the following comments about Arizona:
"I like the weather there, because it's a dry climate and not humid when it gets hot. They have a good program," he said.
He continues to hear from Alabama, Iowa, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Purdue, Toledo and others by mail and phone calls.
