Linebacker discusses top schools, favorite

Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River three-star linebacker James Clark has hit the road to check out a pair of schools this summer.
"I went to Memphis and Florida this summer," Clark said.
He talked about his recent trip to check out Memphis.

"I liked it a lot," Clark said. "I liked the staff. The coaches are really good out there. They also have a nice facility. I just liked the whole city. I felt like they were all-in for the team there."
He also recently had an opportunity to make his way to Gainesville to learn more about the Gators.
"Mostly I liked the coaching staff that they have there," Clark said. "There was a level of intensity there as well."
As for upcoming summer trips, Clark has nothing scheduled at this time. He does know three other campuses he would like to make his way onto eventually.
"I know I want to see Alabama, Auburn, and Ole Miss," Clark said.
Clark has five schools - Alabama, Auburn, Florida Memphis, and Ole Miss - standing out at this time.
"They are somewhat my top schools," Clark said.
One stands out above the rest at this juncture.
"Memphis is my top school," Clark said. "It is just the environment there. That is what really got me about them."
With regards to making a decision, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker is hoping to possibly do it in the next month or so.
"I am thinking about doing it before the school year starts but I am not too sure yet," Clark said.
As a junior, Clark had 52 tackles including 19 tackles for loss and eight sacks.
