Aliquippa, Pa., linebacker and running back Brandon Lindsey has five scholarship offers on the table. He is expecting more in the not too distant future.
"I have offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Temple, Connecticut and Ohio State," Lindsey said. "And Michigan, Penn State and Georgia Tech are close to offering I'm pretty sure."
Lindsey said with the exception of Temple and Connecticut, he is looking at all of the schools he mentioned plus a few more.
"I'm looking at Miami of Florida too, Michigan State, North Carolina State and Louisville," Lindsey said.
Lindsey said he attended a couple spring practices at Pitt and the Panthers spring game. He will likely visit a number of the other schools on his list before he picks a college.
"I'll probably take some visits in the summer," Lindsey said. "And I'm pretty sure I'll take some official visits. I'll probably wait till after the football season to pick a college."
The 6-foot-2 and 220-pound Lindsey made 120 tackles including 11 sacks during his junior season. He also rushed for 1251 yards and 19 touchdowns.
"Right now I'm looking at playing either linebacker or running back in college," Lindsey said. "But right now it looks more like linebacker."
