Lindsay ready for official visit

Macomb (Mich.) L'Anse Creuse North's Jeff Lindsay, who committed to Purdue in March, is ready for his official visit with the Boilermakers.
"I'm leaving Friday morning for my official visit," Lindsay said. "Purdue plays Michigan State Saturday."

After committing so early, have any schools made a late push for Lindsay's services?
"Some Big Ten schools like Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan State were recruiting me," Lindsay said. "And Pitt and LSU. But that's all started to slow down now.
"I think I'll just stay with my Purdue visit. I think that will be it."
The 6-foot-4 and 210-pound Lindsay played quarterback, wide receiver, running back, safety, cornerback, linebacker, and defensive end during his senior season.
Lindsay passed for over 500 yards, rushed for over 500, intercepted two passes, and had five sacks.
"Right now Purdue is talking about safety, but they said they would try me all-around till they find the right spot," Lindsay said.
Lindsay is the No. 24 'athlete' prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Michigan.
