Linder with three big offers

Brandon Linder is a center/offensive tackle prospect from St. Thomas (Fla.) Aquinas High School. Linder, 6-5 and 275 pounds, is a member of the Class of 2010 and he has already received some very big scholarship offers.
Linder comes from South Florida and there he grew up a fan of the Miami Hurricanes. He insists though that he's taking things with an open mind and one step at a time.

"I grew up as a home town fan of Miami. They are a program back on the rise and I have always liked them. Plus, it's close to home.
"Florida is a really beautiful school. I love the campus and it's an amazing program. Urban Meyer is a good guy, the players are nice, and their facilities are amazing.
"I love the tradition at Notre Dame. Notre Dame is their own brand and it would be something different for me. The school was gorgeous.
"I am pretty open and all are equal in my mind. I like all the big name schools but these are my main ones.
"I want to shut it down this season and talk here and there with the coaches. I want to focus on the team and I want to win a state championship. I will pick it up (with recruiting) after the season. I would like to make a decision sometime next summer."
St. Thomas Aquinas is 2-0 on the season. Last week they beat Cardinal Gibbons 49-3. They have two off-weeks before they face South Plantation High School.
This summer Linder camped at Florida and also visited both Miami and South Bend. Most teams are recruiting him at both center and tackle.
Next weekend he will travel up to South Bend again to watch the Michigan/Notre Dame game. He will also go to Miami when they host Florida State and to Gainesville when Florida plays either LSU or South Carolina.
