Lewis will visit Nebraska this summer

Akron (Ohio) Hoban defensive end LaTroy Lewis doesn't know what the entire summer holds in store for him but he does know of at least one trip he'll be taking.
With offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, Lewis is clearly a highly sought after prospect.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end has great athleticism and has received a three-star ranking from Rivals.com.
One school that hasn't offered yet is Nebraska. Lewis thinks highly of the Cornhuskers so he's making a trip to Lincoln a priority this summer.
"In the next couple of months I'll probably head out to Nebraska. That's the only thing I'm sure of right now," Lewis explained. "That will probably be a camp."
Lewis said he's open to visiting other schools but nothing has materialized yet. He will probably go through at least the entire summer before he makes a decision. More likely, he'll announce his choice between halfway through his season and the end of it.
On Sunday he said he doesn't have any favorites.
Lewis offered his two cents on the Jim Tressel situation at Ohio State, since the Buckeyes have been recruiting him.
"I think it's unfortunate," he said. "It's a terrible thing because coach Tressel is a really nice person. It's unfortunate but even good people do bad things.
"It doesn't affect me so much, though. Of course, coaches and other people at a school will affect me but I'm not going to choose a school just based on the coach."
