Lewis sticking with the Cuse

Defensive end Andrew Lewis wants to attend college at Syracuse, despite the recent departure of Paul Pasqualoni as the Orange's head coach. Now he's just hoping whoever the new coach is will honor the offer the former coach put on the table.
"Syracuse is still Syracuse, and that's where I want to be," said Lewis. "The surroundings will be the same, and most of the people there are going to be there anyways. I'm hoping Coach White stays there, and he said he would. I'm just looking at this as a little coaching change. I'm not going to let it alter my decision."

The 6-foot-2, 247-pound lineman from Clifton (Va.) Centreville even thinks the change might be good.
"It's going to kind of give everyone a clean slate," said Lewis. "There won't be any favoritism, and everyone will be working hard to impress the new coach. I think it will all work out fine. I liked Coach Pasqualoni, but the team will be fine."
Lewis is now just waiting to make sure the new coach will honor the offer that Pasqualoni originally put on the table. If things don't work out as he'd like, what other schools might he consider?
"First I'd look to Boston College, because I've got a great relationship with Coach Willis. He's come to visit me in Virginia and has struck me as a great guy. Then I'd look at Rutgers and Kent State, and then maybe a North Carolina or Wake Forest. But I still want to go to Syracuse."
