The Express finished as the runner-up at the weekend event but qualified for an invitation to the National Championship event to be held down the road in Los Angeles. Lewis knows that it is important for this year's version of the Express to improve and defend the title earned by the squad in 2010.
"We have got to repeat it," Lewis said. "There isn't another option."
With regards to recruiting, Lewis claims offers from LSU, South Florida, Florida, Florida State, West Virginia, and Alabama. He has taken a trio of visits at this point.
"I have been to Florida, Florida State, and Miami," Lewis said. "They were all nice. I like the environment around the schools. I know people there and they tell me good things about the schools."
Lewis doesn't know of any other definitive visit plans. In fact, with regards to a leader, as well as everything else concerning his recruitment, he is simply up in the air at this point.
"I am undecided about everything," Lewis said.
As a junior, Lewis had 32 catches for 572 yards and five touchdowns.
