Levrone talks Army combine, offers

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel wide receiver Andre Levrone is still sitting at two scholarships. The 6-foot-1, 188-pounder recently participated in the U.S. Army All-American Combine and took one trip late in the season. He's also looking to head back out for more soon.
"The Army combine went well," he said. "I was able to see how I measured up against the nation's best. I feel like I showed I am deceptively fast in my routes and that I have sure hands."

On the recruiting front, Levrone claims offers from Auburn and Virginia.
"I don't have any new offers to date," he said. "But, Boston College and Pittsburgh are the two most noteworthy teams that are interested.
"Both of them came in about a week ago and they've been telling me they love my size and athleticism."
Towards the end of the season, Levrone made an unofficial visit to Charlottesville for Virginia's game against Virginia Tech.
"It was very nice," he said. "Everyone was welcoming down there and it seemed to be a family like environment. That is something I really like."
Levrone is looking at a trip back to Charlottesville, but also down to Auburn.
"I am not 100% sure where yet I'm going, but I will definitely be taking some visits," he said. "I'll definitely be trying to get down to Auburn and take another trip to Virginia."
The real question is, does Levrone like anybody?
"I like anyone who shows interest in me at this point, but to name a few, Clemson, Tennessee and Florida," he said. "I want everyone to know I'm open to anybody at this point. Of course, I can't forget about Virginia and Auburn. I do really like those two schools."
