Levrone planning to take more visits

Three-star wide receiver Andre Levrone still holds three offers. As he waits for more, the Olney (Md.) Good Counsel prospect is taking some visits and plans to head to one school this weekend.

"I visited Auburn and Clemson earlier this spring," he said. "I'm going to Virginia for their spring game on April 14th. I was going to go to Michigan with Kendall, but I decided for Virginia instead."

Levrone hopes to take more trips soon.

"I want to see Ohio State still," he said. "I haven't discussed when I'll be going, but they have talked to me. I've been in touch with Coach Smith and he just hasn't seen much of me yet since there isn't a whole lot of film out there. He wants to see me this spring up at our school. Hopefully, they'll pull the trigger."

At this time, Levrone claims three offers from Auburn, Mississippi State and Virginia.

Much like Ohio State, most other schools are waiting.

"That's pretty much what a lot of schools are telling me," he said. "They don't have a lot of film of me because I was fighting for a spot and didn't play that much until the end of the year. I was behind Stefon Diggs and when I played, I took advantage of it."

With that fact, most schools want to see Levrone even this summer for camps.

"Clemson's coach visited and said he's looking for me to come down to their camp," he said. "He told me all I have to do is perform well and I'll possibly get an offer. I'll probably go to Ohio State also."

Currently though, Levrone isn't hiding the fact that Virginia is the leader.

"I'd be willing to say Virginia has an edge right now," he said. "I really like what Coach London is doing with the program up there. The past two years have been a complete turn around and he has given that program a facelift. It looks like a place I can see myself now. They are showing me the most love of any other school."

With three previous visits to Charlottesville, what's the purpose this time?

"I just want to go with my mom," he said. "She hasn't seen it yet. I want to go up with her and get a vibe."
