Leslie still solid with Ga Tech

Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Brandon Leslie committed to Georgia Tech back in early October. Since his commitment, former Yellow Jacket head coach Chan Gailey but Leslie sounds like he's still very solid with his commitment.
Leslie, 6-0, 195 pounds is one of the top safeties in the West this year and had a very strong senior season. He's a physical player who even played some linebacker for the Tigers and projects as a strong safety in college.

With the coaching situation at Tech as well as all over the country, several committed prospects have decided to open things up in regards to their recruitment but Leslie doesn't sound like one of them.
"I've had some schools call me but I'm not looking at anyone else right now," Leslie said. "I'm a solid commitment to Tech and have no plans to take any other trips.
"When I committed, I committed for a lot of reasons and not just the coaching staff. G Tech is just a great school and I still hear from the coaching staff there on a regular basis. Those guys don't even know if they're going to have a job but they're still talking to me a lot about how great the school is. I've had a coach come out and visit me twice already and that shows me how much they want me there.
"I love the academics there and I'm very comfortable with the city itself and the players on the team. Plus I think I could come in there and play early because they don't have a lot of depth at safety.
"Hopefully they'll name a new coach soon and I hear they will. No matter what though, I was told my scholarship will be honored and that's all I need to know."
