Lesatale happy he made commitment

Lene Lesatale had other offers and could have prolonged his decision-making process but the defensive tackle from Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr knew he wanted to commit and so Thursday night soon after getting offered he picked his school and isn't looking back.
"It was pretty fast but I wanted to do it," said Lesatale, minutes after making his commitment to BYU.

"Everything about BYU stood out - the education, football and the church. I just prayed about it and I knew it was going to be BYU. I had other offers but there's something about BYU that I like a lot."
Air Force, Hawaii, Nevada and Washington had also offered Lesatale, who was hearing from UCLA, Stanford and others.
But Lesatale, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound prospect, wanted to end his recruitment early because he found the school he wanted to attend and so he decided to make the call and get it over with. Lesatale said there was no reason to wait it out when he knew he wanted to go to BYU the whole time.
"I'm really happy it's over," Lesatale said. "Now I can just focus on my senior year.
"I was just going through the process and I was thinking about it. I knew it was the right decision. That was my No. 1 school anyway so I just wanted to get it over with and worry about my school."
