Lerner takes visit, sets another

Hoover, Ala., safety Max Lerner is having the kind of the season that a lot of prospects dream of having during their senior year with his team sitting at 9-1. If that wasn't enough, he's looking at several college options with his recruiting slowly picking up steam.
Two teams have been on his offer list and after visiting one, he's ready to get to the other. The 5-foot-10, 187-pound two-star prospect has seen Southern Miss before and he's ready to take an official visit to Middle Tennessee State.

"I'm going there this weekend coming up," Lerner said about his official visit to Middle Tennessee. "I want to see how they compare to Southern Miss I guess. They've also been real good to me throughout the whole process."
Lerner, rated as the No. 35 overall prospect in Alabama, is also just returning from an unofficial visit this past weekend when he checked out Northwestern.
"It was really nice," Lerner said. "I got there on Friday, we stayed in the city and then came out to the game on Saturday. Everything was great. I gave them my tape and they said they'll look at it before they offer. They said they do like what they see in me."
He is staying wide open.

Northwestern and Vanderbilt are two schools I'm really impressed with, so we'll see what they do."Here to view this Link.
