Claremore, Okla., two-star offensive center Brian Lepak still holds out hope of picking up a Big 12 scholarship offer, but at this point he has quite a few other really impressive options to explore – including taking two official visits this week.
"I went to TCU last week and tomorrow I'm going to Colorado State," Lepak, who is 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, said.
"Then I'm going to Tulsa. Then I'll probably make a decision after that."
That's if he doesn't get an offer from a program like Texas Tech or Oklahoma.
"Things might change if I get an offer from Texas Tech or Oklahoma, but to tell you the truth I don't really want to talk about that right now," Lepak said.
"I'm talking to TCU, Tulsa, and Colorado State right now. I have offers from those teams and I'm still talking to Oklahoma and Texas Tech a little bit. They've told me there's a possibility I'll get an offer, but they're going to check out some other guys first and then come back to me."
Lepak believes even if the Big 12 offers don't come then he'll be happy to pick from the schools already on his list.
"I'd be honored to go to TCU, Tulsa or Colorado State," he said. "All three are great programs."
