Lenoir sees interest pick up

Vanderbilt, Boise State, Oklahoma and Arizona State are the first four programs to reach out to 2017 four-star cornerback Deommodore Lenoir in the last day or so and the Los Angeles Salesian standout said others could be coming in soon. Lenoir has already loaded up with a bunch of offers and out of those four programs that contacted him only Vanderbilt has not offered up to this point.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Lenoir does not have any solid plans for unofficial visits this season. He's more focused on a big year both ways at Los Angeles Salesian since a bunch of top prospects graduated and he will be called on in many ways to lead the team. It is expected he will take local trips with a bunch to UCLA. The Bruins are definitely in front in his recruitment especially since teammate Rahyme Johnson, a 2017 three-star linebacker, committed to them over the summer.
RIVALS' REACTION: Oklahoma is pursuing Lenoir hard and he could take a look at the Sooners among other programs. ASU seems to have his attention and an offer from USC (Lenoir worked out for the Trojans' coaching staff this summer and performed well) might be huge to him. He also talks a lot about LSU and Oregon. But UCLA is the team to beat - it's close to home, he has a great relationship with the staff and his teammate is headed to Westwood as well.
