Lenoir lands major Big 10 offer

Deommodore Lenoir is one of the top 2017 defensive backs in the country and on Monday he landed his latest offer from Michigan. The Wolverines are definitely in play for the Los Angeles Salesian prospect especially since Lenoir is starting to lean toward getting away from home for his college years.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Lenoir had Oklahoma and Washington standing out most in his recruitment in recent weeks and those two programs are definitely still in the mix. After Michigan offered, Lenoir said he's going to take a serious look at them and there's no doubt he has some major early interest in the Wolverines. The more he gets to know the program, the more Michigan could continue to move up his list.
IN HIS WORDS: "It plays a big part in my recruiting process because I want to leave for college," Lenoir said of the Michigan offer.
RIVALS' REACTION: It's still too early to tell what the 2017 standout is going to decide. Many more offers could be on the way - Lenoir has said Vanderbilt and Louisville have been showing a lot of interest - and so his recruitment could go in many directions. It's also premature to guess whether Lenoir is serious about leaving town for college or if he'll decide to stay closer. It's expected his recruitment will pick up even more this offseason so things could change a lot.
