Lemonier visits Illinois

Corey Lemonier is one of the most coveted defensive prospects in the country. He just got back from his second official visit. This past weekend this four-star defensive end from Hialeah, Florida tripped to Champaign to check out Illinois.
"Illinois was a really good visit," Lemonier said. "Coach (Ron) Zook is a good coach and seems very honest. I can play early there. Plus Corey (Liuget) is there and he says it's good place to play and that will I love it up there. Calvin (Smith) and Rayvon (Carter) went with me. We would love to go to same school together but it may not work out that way."

Lemonier, 6-5 and 223 pounds, is a member of the Rivals100. He first official visit was to Florida State when they hosted Miami back on Labor Day.
"That was a really good visit. It was a crazy atmosphere and the fans were really into it. I like the coaches there and they want me to be that rush guy there are missing."
"Both visits were really good. I think I am also going to visit Auburn and Tennessee. I am not sure who I would visit last. I just don't know yet. I am pretty open with all the schools still."
Hialeah is off to a 2-2 start this season. This Friday they take on Miami Beach.
"I think I am playing well. I have a better understanding of what I need to do and how to make a play. I'm a year older and just more experienced. I am also trying to help out the younger guys on the defense. I have been teaching those guys a lot."
