Lemonier surprised by the attention

Corey Lemonier will be a name you learn to know over the coming months. Lemonier, 6-4 and 220 pounds, is a big time defensive end prospect from Hialeah (Fla.) High School. He's only a junior but one to watch.
"I get after the quarterback," Lemonier said. "I get off the ball and have good quickness. I recognize plays and can chase down ball. I'm a physical player that never stops until that whistle blows. I do need to get stronger and I would like to get more flexible."

Something new to Lemonier is the sport of wrestling. He will take on this sport next and he wants to win a state championship.
"One of my friends won the state title and showed me his ring. Now I want a ring like that and I will work hard to get it."
According to Lemonier he has scholarship offers from Miami, Florida, Central Florida, Florida International and West Virginia (first offer). That's some strong schools and the early interest has surprised Lemonier.
"I didn't realize I would get this kind of attention and offers this fast. I honestly thought it would happen next year when I will be a senior. It makes you humble and it will make me work harder. But right now I am not even thinking about recruiting, leaders and all of that stuff."
Lemonier has 10 sacks on the season. Hialeah is 6-3 on the season. They finish the year with South Miami High School this weekend. Lemonier has been to games at Central Florida and Miami this season.
