Lemmens sets trips

One of the last remaining big time prospects from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian is three-star, two-way standout Duke Lemmens (6-4, 240, 4.55).
If Oaks Christian head coach Bill Redell had his way all of his D-I guys would have been committed by now, but for Lemmens, he wants to take his visits so his decision will likely be a December or January one according to Redell.

Lemmens has two visits set on Oregon on September 15th and Florida on November 10th.
"I think Duke has pretty much narrowed it down to Florida, Texas A&M, Cal, Oregon and Colorado," Redell said. "He's pretty open, but I think his Dad would like him to play out west."
"Duke had a heck of an off-season," Redell said. "He ran a 4.55 at Florida's camp.
"I knew he was quick but I didn't know he was that quick," Redell said. "I called one of the coaches over at Florida and he verified it for me and he said Duke ran a 4.55 twice."
"Duke has a great motor," Redell said. "He has all the tools.
"Duke is enthusiastic about the game and he has the talent to play on either side of the ball on the D-I level.
"The thing that is really impressive about Duke is he has a great frame. He could easily put on another 40 to 50 pounds without skipping a beat.
Lemmens racked up 90 tackles, 10 sacks and one fumble recovery as a junior.
Redell a longtime coach in the area has put a lot of good players on the D-I level that made it to the top level had the following to say about Lemmens in an earlier interview with Rivals.com.
"Duke is one of the finest defensive linemen I've coached over the years. He's strong, he's physical and he's just a very good football player."
