Lemieux adding more schools

Shane Lemieux keeps loading up with offers and even more interest as college coaches across the country become more familiar with the Yakima (Wash.) West Valley offensive tackle.
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound prospect has added offers from Cal and East Carolina in recent days to go along with Boise State, Idaho, Oregon, South Carolina and Washington State.

Lemieux's father lives in Lancaster, S.C., and the standout offensive tackle said South Carolina and Oregon definitely stand out in his recruitment at this point.
"It's pretty much the best of both worlds," Lemieux said. "If I go to South Carolina my dad will be at every game but if I stay here my mom will be at every game.
"I live with my mom of course. I'm a momma's boy. I've pretty much narrowed down to Oregon and South Carolina right now. I'm just trying to see which one would fit academically the best now."
There could be some movement for Lemieux, though, since so many programs have reached out in recent days especially as his highlight film has been circulated.
Powerhouse programs including Alabama, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Washington USC, Utah, BYU and others have gotten involved.
Oregon and South Carolina could be the frontrunners at this point but the Yakima West Valley standout said Alabama and Texas A&M would jump into that top group if either offered.
USC has come on strong especially recently and the new coaching staff has invited him to summer camp but the Trojans are not one of the frontrunners at this point.
"I've been talking to them and they haven't shown too much interest so far," Lemieux said. "They talked to me and they invited me down to their camp but Oregon and the Gamecocks are top-notch teams. I love the coaching staff at South Carolina and Oregon. It would be cool to get that offer but it wouldn't be like a Gamecock offer for me."
