Arlington (Texas) Grace Prep wide receiver Lance Leggett took his first official visit when he traveled north to check out the Oklahoma Sooner football program.
“I did go up to Norman Saturday,” the 6-foot-4, 178-pound Leggett said. “I had a real good time. I enjoyed being around the players and the coaches. They treated me like I was one of them. It was a lot of fun.”
One coach stood out the most to the No. 18 rated wide receiver.

“Coach Wyatt is real good,” Leggett said. “He is great to talk to. He has answered any question I’ve had about Oklahoma and their program. He is telling me about how I can fit into their wide receiver situation.
“Oklahoma is a really good program. I like a lot of the things they do there. They are one of the top teams in the country and they are in the hunt every year. Each of the teams I’m looking at are always in the hunt. I’ve got several good choices.”
With one visit already on the calendar, Leggett plans on taking all five of his official visits.
“I will go to Miami next week,” he said. “I’m still planning on visiting Florida and Florida State too. But, I don’t have them set up yet.”
