Leggett likes Indiana

Make no mistake – Muskegon, Mich., two-star fullback Ashton Leggett has a favorite. Now all he needs to do is get that favorite to offer him a scholarship. With a good senior season, the 5-foot-11, 225-pounder that's ranked as the No. 26 player in Michigan can make that happen.
"Indiana is on top," Leggett said.

"I want to major in business marketing and they have a good one at Indiana. I know their football team isn't that well known but that doesn't matter to me. I want a place that's both a good football setting and a great academic setting."
Leggett does have an offer from Buffalo, but what if Indiana were to offer? Would he commit quickly?
"Not quickly but if Indiana offers it'll be way on top of my list," he said. "But I still want to survey my options."
In the mean time, Leggett's first goal is to help his team go deep in the state playoffs. Muskegon has one of the top teams each year in Michigan and the expectations are huge this fall.
"We just had our last day of two-a-days," he said. "We have a state championship caliber team this year. We won it in 2004. I want to win a state championship. I'm not selfish, so I only have team goals. I just want the team to do good."
Purdue, Central Michigan, Michigan and Michigan State are the other teams that send him consistent recruiting information. He said he'll know more about other team's interest after September 1st.
