Legacy recruit to visit Ohio State

Warren (Ohio) Harding class of 2015 offensive center James Daniels grew up watching Ohio State football on television, but this weekend he will get a chance to see the Buckeyes play live.
"I am going to the Ohio State game this weekend," he said. "I am excited because this is going to be a big game. It will be a night game, so the stadium will be packed."

Daniels' father was an offensive lineman for the Buckeyes in the mid-1990's, so Ohio State football is ingrained in DNA.
"I grew up watching them because my dad went there… I guess that was the only [team] I could watch," Daniels joked.
Daniels older brother, LeShun, actually signed with Iowa in the 2013 class. His parents will be watching him play this weekend in Minnesota, so the younger Daniels will ride with his grandparents to Columbus where Ohio State coaches will be expecting him.
"They've just been sending me letters and I've talked to Coach [Ed] Warinner on Facebook once or twice," Daniels said. "I don't know if they have seen any film, but he said they were interested."
Daniels already holds seven offers from the likes of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State and Penn State. Other schools have picked up the interest this fall.
"I have been hearing from Nebraska and Notre Dame invited me to a game," Daniels said. "I will probably [visit Notre Dame] later on in the season."
No other visits have been set following this weekend's trip to Ohio State. He did attend and Iowa game earlier this season, and would like to get back down for another. His older brother has returned positive reports from his experience in Iowa City thus far.
"He encourages me [toward Iowa] and he really likes it out there," Daniels said.
