Leff scores first offer

To put it mildly, Robert Leff's first meeting with a Louisiana-Lafayette coach, which took place late last week, went well.
By the time it ended, the Fairhope School (Ala.) junior offensive tackle had a scholarship offer.

Not just any offer -- his first offer.
"I'm just glad to finally have it," Leff told Rivals.com. "It means I can finally start getting offers from others places. Not that I'm ruling Louisiana-Lafayette out. It's definitely a great school. I'm just glad to finally get into the process."
Leff said he hadn't heard from U-LL until recently.
"My coach had sent film to them, and they stopped by [school]," Leff said. "I came in to talk. A [Ragin' Cajuns assistant] talked to me about the university. He gave me some information about the school and about what I want to major in, then he got into football. He talked about how he could help me put some weight on if I went there. Then, he offered me a scholarship."
Who else is showing interest in the 6-foot-6, 255-pound Leff, who was a first-year starter in 2010?
"Right now, Southern Miss, Kentucky, the Citadel and I believe Western Kentucky," Leff said.
