Lee to visit Orangemen, Horns

The nation’s top-rated dual-threat quarterback has rounded out his schedule of official visits.
Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze signal caller Xavier Lee, a member of the Rivals100 Team, says he’ll wrap up his visits with trips to Syracuse and Texas.

“I’ve added Syracuse for Jan. 23 and Texas for Jan. 16,” he said. “I still have Florida State on the 9th.”
Asked what led to the addition of the Orangemen and Longhorns, Lee gave a similar answer for both.
“I don’t know much about either one of those schools, but they’ve got successful programs and put out some good players at my position, like Donovan McNabb at Syracuse,” he said. “They fit my style pretty well. I want to go check them out and see what they have to offer.
“Syracuse has been recruiting me from the beginning, one of the first to show interest in me. I like coach Goldman a lot, so I’m going to give them a visit.”
Lee (6-4, 200, 4.5) said his co-leaders remain Auburn and Florida State. He visited the Tigers on Nov. 21. He also visited Ohio State on Dec. 5.
Any timetable for a decision?
"Probably the last week of January," he said, "after I take all my visits."
As a senior, he passed for 3,133 yards and 37 touchdowns while rushing for 567 yards and 10 touchdowns.
