Lee Rose looking for more offers

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian linebacker Lee Rose holds a couple offers from the Air Force and Army. Numerous other schools including a handful of other Division I programs are showing interest in the 6-foot-0, 216-pounder.
"I still talking to coaches from the same schools, NC State, North Carolina, Furman, Elon, Wofford and Ohio," he said. "The Division I-AA schools are waiting to see what NC State and UNC do before they make a move.

"As for those two, they seem very interested and want to see some film. They've told me they plan to come up to a game soon. I think both of them see me as a fullback in their systems and I have no problem playing that. I'll go either way."
Meanwhile, what does Rose think about the two academies that have offered?
"I've been filling out my applications for them and am definitely interested," he said. "They seem like great places to go. I think I'm going to go to a couple of their games this year.
"I'm definitely considering an official to Air Force right now. I like them a lot because they have fantastic facilities, play at a high level and I like the opportunity to fly."
The two-star prospect is also looking at some unofficials coming up to NC State/Clemson on September 22nd and Furman/Wofford on September 29th.
This season Rose has helped his team to a 4-0 start.
"We're doing really well," he said. "There is a lot more team aspect this year. The players are rooting for each other during the game and we're focused on winning.
"I've been doing pretty well. I'm moving around on defense, some linebacker some defensive end. I'm also playing running back. I think so far I've got 37 tackles and three sacks in three games. I sprained my ankle last week and will probably sit for another week or so. It's getting better, but I don't want to rush it."
