Lee Rose decides

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian linebacker Lee Rose made a decision recently. The 6-foot-0, 216-pounder committed to Richmond over offers from Air Force, Army and others.
"I actually committed to Richmond just before Coach Clawson left," he said. "I already have one of my teammates going there, Chris James. I really like the players and it seems like a program headed in the right direction.

"They have a new coach, a brand new weight room and a new stadium coming next year. It should be a good fit."
What does Rose think about the Mike London hire?
"I've heard he's a really good guy," he said. "Everybody likes him and it sounds like he's trying to hook the players up. Plus, he's got a lot of experience coaching at Virginia and playing at Richmond of course."
Rose is being considered for both sides of the ball at Richmond.
"There are two outlooks," he said. "If I play offense I might not redshirt, but if I play defense I probably will since they have a lot of freshmen and sophomore linebackers."
