Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons wideout Trevon Lee is set on his top four schools, but determining the fifth one has been a bit trickier for the sure handed pass-catcher.
Two weeks ago, Lee traveled to California for his first official visit. The three-star split end had nothing but good things to say about his trip out to Berkeley.
"It was amazing, I really love the school, and everything about it," Lee said. "The coaches were nice, the atmosphere was nice, and the climate was nice. Coach (Sonny) Dykes is a really laid-back head coach, he is really cool. I like him and the offense is real explosive, similar to our offense, so it would be a good fit if I end up there."
Lee said he will take official visits to Duke, Stanford, and Vanderbilt at the end of the season.
He is planning to take his fifth visit on October 11 during his bye week. The schools in contention to get him on campus include Auburn, Nebraska, and Oregon.
The big-play receiver has been to Duke and Vanderbilt before, so he is familiar with those programs. His trip to Palo Alto will be his first time visiting Stanford.
"I want to look for the same things I saw at Cal," stated Lee. "I want to see how the coaches are, how the practices are, see how the team is, and how I fit."
Because he is taking visits late in the year, he may make a decision near Signing Day. Lee said as of now he feels the most comfortable with the staff at Vanderbilt.
