Lee adds No. 4

Things are rapidly changing in the recruitment of Brenham, Texas quarterback Jarrett Lee.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound signal caller picked up three quick offers from Nebraska, TCU, and Houston. A fourth team, from the Big 12, has now jumped in the mix pushing his stock even higher. His travel plans are also beginning to come together for the spring.

"I got a new one last week or so from Kansas State," Lee said. "Other than that, it's those four right now. I figured that a few schools like Houston or TCU would be early, but I didn't think Kansas State and Nebraska would come this fast.
"It's exciting. I'm just getting out on the websites and seeing what these programs are all about right now."
Two trips are planned in the month of April for Lee.
"Well, April 15 I'm going to Nebraska's spring game and right before that, on April 8, I'm going to Texas Tech to visit," Lee said. "Coach Shawn Watson told me how intense the spring game is and I wanted to see Tech's too, but they were on the same day. So I pushed Tech before that and now I can visit both campuses."
Lee admits he grew up a Longhorn fan. Though he has heard from them through the mail and spoke with coach Greg Davis on occasion, he's keeping his options open.
"There aren't really any leading teams," Lee said. "I'm just waiting it out right now."
The Red Raiders have been a top team on his list and he expects an offer after he visits.
"Tech is pushing really hard along with LSU and Nebraska," he said. "Those three are recruiting the hardest, but Tech said they like to get players down to campus before they offer. I'm trying to go to LSU's campus too since I missed their junior day."
Lee also recognizes that he's part of a strong class considering three other players from his 2007 class have received Division I scholarship offers.
"I'm fortunate enough to play with all these guys," he said. "Hopefully we can push hard into next year and really go far."
