Ledbetter updates his recruitment

Three-star safety Rhaheim Ledbetter has been quiet for over a month. Rivals.com caught back up with the Boiling Springs (N.C.) Crest prospect to get the latest and what is next.
"We just started summer football practice this week from 8 a.m. to 12," he said. "I think I've seen a big improvement in the team as well as myself.

"I have gotten stronger and picked up some of my footwork which is better hips wise. I'm going hard in the weight room and my recovery speed is getting better. I feel myself getting faster and it's going to be a great year this year."
In recruiting, Ledbetter claims five offers from the likes of Auburn, Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
"I'm glad that I have this opportunity to have any offers," he said. "Some people play the game and they don't get anything, it's a big step and I'm glad I'm getting these offers."
Of course, other college programs including Alabama, Nebraska and Miami want him to camp. Is he going to make it?
"I might visit one or two it depends on my football schedule if I get to any camps."
As he is considering visits for later this summer, Lebetter discussed what he is looking for.
"Basically I'm looking for the type of defense," he said. "I have been talking to my high school coach about the type of defense each school runs and basically what they'll teach me. That is basically what I'll be looking for."
At this time, Ledbetter maintains no favorites.
"I like them all," he said. "I haven't given any top fives or anything."
