Ledbetter could get busier soon

Jonathan Ledbetter was one of the top defensive linemen at the Under Armour Junior Combine last week and he said two SEC programs stick out early in his recruitment.
The Tucker, Ga., four-star defensive end likes Ole Miss and Vanderbilt but many other programs are also close to offering - and they're big-time names.

Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, North Carolina and Virginia have also offered thus far.
"Ole Miss had a really good season," Ledbetter said. "They've been playing well and they've been getting a lot of good players in the recruiting class. This year is going really well. (Robert) Nkemdiche would be there for one year when I get there if he doesn't leave. They just have a really good team and they have everything together so when I get there they'd be a really good team.
"At Vanderbilt, there is already a player from my high school that goes there, Jacob Sealand, so I have a little mentor when I get there. I wouldn't be on my own trying to figure everything out. I would have a little guidance. It's a good school. I've been up there so I'd be able to get a great education and also play football."
North Carolina is the newest offer for Ledbetter, rated as the No. 14 strong-side defensive end and the No. 204 recruit in the 2015 class by Rivals.com.
"One of the coaches came to my school right before the dead period," Ledbetter said. "I talked to them and they said they loved the way I played and they'd love for me to come play for them. They offered me on the spot."
There is also a lot of interest. The Tucker, Ga., recruit said he's been to Alabama a handful of times and the coaches love him. Florida State has sent about 15 letters already. He's supposed to visit Stanford sometime soon and then Ohio State is getting in the mix as well.
