Leaders are out for Augustine

Favorites around the country are emerging for elite prospects with numerous offers and thus is the case for defensive end Audie Augustine who must narrow some things down.
A top five is pretty clear for Augustine who hails numerous offers from in-state schools Florida State and Florida as well as national suitors Oklahoma and Auburn. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound defender likes five defenses and that's what shaped his favorites list.

"It's Auburn, Pittsburgh, Florida State, Georgia, and Oklahoma right now," Augustine said. "They're all favorites because they just play great defense. I've also been to the Auburn camp and seen the campus which is beautiful."
Augustine says that he's a 4-3 defense type guy but it won't play a factor in his commitment decision. What he does know for sure is two teams that will definitely be receiving official visits.
"Auburn and Florida State I know for sure," Augustine said about fall trips. "After I came from the Auburn camp I wanted to see more. I've always wanted to check out Tallahassee as well and it's a great school to visit."
Many wonder if the Florida star will leave the state, even with bigger schools on his list from hundreds of miles away. Originally that would have been a problem, but Augustine reshaped his theory.
"Well it was, but there are so many good colleges out there I had to change it up," Augustine said. "Distance doesn't matter, just as long as you can make an impact there.
A decision looks like it won't be coming soon.
"Not sure really, but if I had to guess I would probably decide after the season."
