Leader Named For Four-Star

The best player in Virginia has named a leader. So who is the lucky team out in front for Hampton (Va.) Phoebus stud Phillip Brown?
"I like Tech the best right now," said the 5-foot-11, 185-pounder who is also a member of our July Rivals100 Team. "My mom has been doing a lot of research on schools and academics and she really likes what she has read about Tech. I also see that they're getting players like Marcus Vick, Jimmy Williams -- great athletes that will help them win a national championship."
After Virginia Tech, Brown lists Virginia, Clemson and NC State.
"I still need to take my official visits so nothing is decided yet," he said. "I'll know when I'm on a campus if it's right for me or not. I'll take at least three official visits after my season is over and I'll know."
Brown and talented teammate Xavier Adibi, a standout outside linebacker, had talked about going to the same school early in the process but now that talk about just one thing.
"We talk about smashing people," he said. "There has been a lot of talk about us and that our team won't be able to win this year because we lost so many seniors. We're going to smash some heads."
